INTUNE would like to acknowledge the Kamilaroi Nation as the traditional owners of the land on which the Tamworth Country Music Festival is held. We would also like to give special thanks to Troy Cassar-Daley, and all the artists and their management, the supporters and venues, and, of course, to the people of Tamworth.
Intune @ Tamworth 09
To whet appetites for the first run of Intune at Tamworth 2009, which begins on July 15th, Brisbanes’ fashionable pan-Asian restaurant Monsoon was the setting last Thursday (July 9th) for the official media launch of the series, produced by Queensland’s premier Indigenous digital content media agency Carbon.
The event also celebrated NAIDOC week and was one of the most well attended occasions in the Brisbane social and media calendar for some time, and the packed venue was treated to a tremendous set by none other than music star and host of Intune @ Tamworth 09, Troy Cassar-Daley, who had everyone in the stylish venue on their feet with his winning brand of country music.
