ep-08.jpgIn this final episode. Ray struggles in his search for God in Australia. At La Perouse, Australia’s first mission and Church almost takes him to breaking point.

After decades in jail, urban artist, Gordon Syron, has his own colourful and eccentric idea of what God is.

Now lost in the city, Ray returns home to Kabi Kabi country. He seeks advice from musician Johnny Nicol.

On that advice, Ray goes to the sacred place of his great, great grandmother, where at last he finds peace – and the real meaning of God or him.

ep-07.jpgThis week, Ray returns to the hustle and bustle of the city for some answers. He asks, where is God in the city. Why are so many people so lost.

Blues sax player and DJ, Marlene Cummins takes us deep into her past and the struggle she has in finding God in her life.

Redfern Rapper, Wire MC, offers a colourful interpretation of his perspectives on Heaven and God. He asks how is it possible to be born Guilty.

 
Episode 6

ep-06.jpg This week, takes a look at our old spiritual ways – as they were – and as they are.

In the Central Desert region, he gleans perspectives from artist Raymond Walters, and elder Rex Granites Japanangka.

After searching in Kings Canyon for a meaning for Genesis, Ray drops in to Kings Canyon Station, where Ian Conway has trouble finding God at all in the inyusticies of his country.

In Yulara, we hear from Bob Randall – and his unique way of looking at things.

 
Episode 5
ep-05.jpgThis week, Ray confronts the damage of the 3 Ps to our society - Politics, Police and Priests.

In Darwin, he talks with Adam Thompson about other religious beliefs and relates to some of the good things done for Indigenous people by the Church in the early days of colonization.

He travels to Daley River Mission, where we hear the broad wisdom of artist and writer Miriam-Rose Baumann.

She talks of her introduction to Christianity and the role it plays in her community and society as a whole today.

ep-04.jpgThis week Ray speaks to the younger generation in his search for God in Australia. What is God for them in today’s society?

How can the way we relate to land and God help Australia as a whole? Evolving insights and opinions are expressed by Ray, while his songs reach out, relaying messages of hope.

Interviewees include Redfern Rapper Wire MC, Nathan Schrieber, Dr Mark Wenitong and Ned Gabey from North Queensland and the Torres Straight, as well as Professor Lissa Jackson-Pulver; a convert to Judaism.
