Experience the best in Australian Drama and be the first to discover the new musical sounds of our bush mob throughout August on NITV.

Each Saturday is a series of rap music clips as created by teenagers from five Queensland towns including Cherbourg, Mornington Island and Mapoon.

The music series, Young, Strong and Proud is proudly produced by the Brisbane Indigenous Media Association which worked with the communities to create the series though out 2009 and 2010.

August is also the month to catch the best in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Drama.

Beneath Clouds is screening on the 29^th of August at 11pm AEST. It is the entertaining story of Lena, the daughter of an Aboriginal mother and Irish father and Vaughn, a Murri boy doing time in a minimum security prison in North West NSW. Dramatic events throw them together on a journey with no money and no transport. It is directed by Ivan Sen and stars Dannielle Hall and Damian Pitt.

Beneath Clouds is being shown apart of NITVs new Sunday night movie series. So get the popcorn and Jaffa's out, and enjoy the finest Indigenous films on NITV every Sunday night from August! Other films that are being played in August include Fringe Dwellers and The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith.

Extreme Beats is screening on NITV 23^rd August at 10:00pm AEST. Extreme Beats shows the story of two indigenous police officers, one from Western Australia and the other from Canada. They swap beats to see how different or similar their communities are. This is an informative three part documentary series.
