Information provided on the NITV Website is under the editorial control of the management of NITV. NITV reserves the right to remove, alter or delete any material or information from the NITV Website without any prior notice.

C. Your Comments and Contributions We encourage you to contribute your comments and material to the NITV, however such contributions are subject to the following conditions:

(a) In posting material onto the NITV Website, you hereby grant NITV an irrevocable, non-exclusive licence, world-wide and in perpetuity, to publish your material on the NITV Website and communicate it to the public and otherwise deal with it in accordance with these conditions;

(b) NITV reserves the sole discretion to publish, remove or edit your contribution;

(c) NITV does not allow, and may remove, any contribution which:

(i) defames, provokes, vilifies, harasses, invades privacy, or otherwise infringes the rights of any third party; (ii) infringes any copyright, trade mark, confidential information or any right of any third party; (iii) is abusive or offensive, including obscenity or racial vilification; (iv) is intentionally false or misleading; (v) promotes or endorses commercial products or activities; or (vi) is vexatious, inappropriate, off-topic or otherwise a nuisance to other users;

(d) Children using the NITV Website should be supervised by an adult; and

Prior to providing any material or comments, NITV requires that you register online using your real name, address, email and/or telephone number. We may use these details to contact you for the purpose of verifying your contribution.

Where any material you have provided is quoted or otherwise broadcast or published in the NITV service or Website, NITV policy is to provide you with an attribution in the form of you first name and suburb, town or locality.

D. ICIP Rights and Consents Where you are contributing culturally sensitive material, you must ensure that you have obtained all necessary ICIP consents, including:

(a) respecting and upholding the cultural integrity of the material;

(b) not including material that is secret or sacred;

(c) obtaining consents from the Traditional Owners of those rights, and properly attribute them;

(d) ensuring compliance with deceased persons protocols.

Please remember that once you provide material to NITV it may be made available to the general public both on the NITV Website and by broadcast over the NITV television channel.
